Clearwave Express Check-In is a new and unique tool designed to make the kiosk check-in process even simpler for existing patients. During the first day of its release at a multi-hospital healthcare system, the Express Check-In resulted in a 60% reduction in the time it takes patients to check themselves in at the kiosk. Check-in time was an average of 41 seconds. Express Check-In is designed to recognize patients who have visited the practice in the last 30-days, and allow those patients to rapidly check-in without having to navigate as many screens as standard check-ins. Express Check-In, while much faster, still covers all the necessary updates the patient needs to see for the visit, such as: consents, payment and eligibility verification.
