New From the Clearwave Innovation Lab: Features to Drop Staff Workloads & Boost Efficiency

Clearwave Now Calculates Out-of-Pocket Maximums
With patients meeting their out-of-pocket maximums more often, Clearwave has enhanced the check-in experience to account for these important coverage nuances. Clearwave will now automatically recognize when a patient has met their out-of-pocket maximum and will no longer present a co-pay when that payment is not due.
For Patients: If a patient’s out-of-pocket maximum has been met, Clearwave will display a $0.00 co-pay at check-in. This applies across all check-in modalities.

For Staff: For quick identification, staff can clearly see when a patient has met their out-of-pocket maximum directly within the dashboard.
Expedite Pre-Registration for Existing Patients
In addition to Express Registration at the office, Clearwave now offers Express Pre-Registration for existing patients—removing unnecessary steps during the process and putting patients on the fast track to completing their Pre-Registration.

This streamlined flow will help:
- Improve patient satisfaction
- Increase pre-registration adoption
- Reduce time spent on repetitive tasks
Log In with Secure Sign-On (SSO): Coming Soon
You may have noticed a small change to our Registration Dashboard login! The login page will soon allow clients to securely login, via SSO, using their existing identity provider.
Reschedule Assist: Coming Soon
Rescheduled appointments often create duplicative work for staff—and frustration for patients. Reschedule Assist is designed to eliminate that friction within the Clearwave system.
When an appointment is rescheduled, Clearwave will automatically transfer key data from the original appointment to the new, rebooked appointment, including:
- Patient pre-registration and intake statuses
- Staff appointment notes
- Balances due
- Tasks, notes and additional workflow details
- And more!
This enhancement helps maintain continuity, reduces repetitive work and ensures no critical information is lost during the rescheduling process.
