Clearwave Joins the MEDITECH Alliance as an Accelerator Partner

Clearwave has joined the MEDITECH Alliance as an Accelerator Partner. By joining the MEDITECH Alliance, Clearwave has now formalized its a long-standing integration with MEDITECH. Hospitals and health systems on MEDITECH Expanse deploy Clearwave’s AI-powered check-in, including kiosks, pre-registration, eligibility verification, payments and phone handling – with data written back into Expanse. For organizations running MEDITECH Expanse, this partnership means a vetted path to capturing more revenue before care, lighter front desk workloads and faster, simpler patient experiences, backed by Clearwave’s continued investment in MEDITECH Expanse.

This success is clear at Holyoke Medical Center, an independent community hospital that serves 17,000 patients a month. Holyoke moved check-in, eligibility and patient communications onto Clearwave, with patient-entered data going straight into MEDITECH Expanse. The hospital now sees 94% of patients use self-registration and average check-in times of about two minutes. Its co-pay collection rate is 56%, up from next to zero before the switch.
