Currently have a need for a Software Engineer who will be responsible for following requirements to research, program, and test software products. Candidates need to have knowledge of .NET development and have experience with agile development. We are a full-stack development shop. You will be involved in all aspects from the database to the UI and everything in between.
Essential Job Functions
Works within the software development and QA teams to deliver timely, high quality software products consistent with our product roadmap.
Create and deliver full features with little management.
Follows established processes and makes use of departmental software development tools.
Write and execute unit tests of all code created.
Responsible for technical support issues and delivering fixes or resolutions in a timely manner.
Partake in bi-weekly maintenance releases or special releases as scheduled
Work directly with our development and design team to provide input on functionality, product design, and product usability
Ability to implement software quality best practices throughout the development life-cycle
Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills with a collaborative style, including the ability to develop creative approaches to tasks and challenges given.
BS or BA in computer science or management or equivalent
2+ years’ software development
Proven programming background and hands on programming experience.
Proven experience in delivering software projects.
Experience with any of the following is preferred but not necessary: knowledge of XML and HL7 integrations, knowledge of practice management systems in the Healthcare IT field, any API experience, basic health care insurance benefits.
Jira or any Atlassian knowledge is a plus.
Experience in agile methodology strongly desired.
Expected to multi-task and accommodate change of priorities on demand.
