The Quality Assurance Analyst evaluates and tests software programs to verify that programs function according to user requirements and conform to established guidelines. You will be instrumental in helping us test our software before it is released for use by hospitals and physician owned practices. You will work closely with our Development and QA teams to build out test scenarios and automate them to verify we are releasing quality code. We are looking for someone that loves diving in and testing features and functions. Attention to detail and passion for keeping a quality product is a must.
Essential Job Functions
Become an expert on our products and features
Work with Development and Quality Assurance associates to identify, design and execute test suites/test cases for diverse projects to ensure all functional requirements are met.
Contribute to development of and maintenance of manual and/or automated testing framework that facilitates functional testing, regression testing, and load/performance testing
Identify, analyze, and document defects with the software functionality, output, and content.
Work directly with our development and design team to provide input on functionality, product design, and product usability.
Ability to implement software quality best practices throughout the development life-cycle
Work with customers in a support capacity, troubleshooting issues.
Provide feedback, training and other employee development activities.
Work on special projects as required.
3+ years’ experience with quality assurance work and/or equivalent
Strong knowledge of computer software; hardware knowledge a plus
Detail oriented and critical thinker
Ability to work with minimum direction and to work effectively in a team environment
Collaborate and work across multiple teams
Take full ownership of key projects
Proven strong communication skills and the ability to work with people from diverse back and experience
Experience in agile methodology strongly desired
Experience with SpecFlow or writing Gherkin preferred
Jira or any Atlassian knowledge is a plus
Expected to multi-task and accommodate change of priorities on demand
Basic Proficiency in Word, Excel & PowerPoint
Healthcare and/or practice management systems, hospital information systems, electronic health records (PMS/HIS/EHR) knowledge a plus
